RG Haynie: The Fauvist's Child
RG (Robin) Haynie is the playwright-in-residence at the Henderson County Performing Arts Center in Athens, Texas. She writes one-act and
full-length, youth and adult plays with a focus on the relationships
between characters, intriguing dialogue and creating interesting
challenges for actors. Her plays include The Show, Funeral Gardens, Movie
Night, and Martha and Mary which will premiere at HCPAC in June of tthis year, and In Sam's Head which was co-written with Samuel Haynie and first performed at the Texas Nonprofit Theatre Youth Conference held at Texas
Woman's University in Denton, Texas in May of 2008. She has also completed
an adaptation of The Empty Pot for the drama department of the Trinity
Valley Community College. Ms. Haynie is also completing a Master Degree in
History at the University of Texas at Tyler.

Synopsis
A successful artist discovers too late that her father was an amateur painter in his youth. This discovery creates frustration with her controlling mother and prompts her to consider loss, alienation and mortality. Throughout her journey we witness the struggle to realize what is left behind when loved ones die.
Marjorie Bicknell: The Boys Club
Marjorie Bicknell is a working playwright, director and actress. She holds a BA in Theatre and English Literature from Mundelein College in Chicago and an MA in Speech with a concentration in Theatre/Oral Interpretation from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Marjorie has studied playwriting at Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago, and the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia, where she was a member of the theatre's elite Playwrights Circle. Her first full-length play, an adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, was produced at Theatre Center Chicago by Pary Production Company. The production was the recipient of three Joseph Jefferson Citations. Frankenstein is published by Heartland Plays. Marjorie is also the author of The Family Room, winner of the 2003 Pennsylvania Playwright Award. Other full-length plays include, Joint Custody and Queen of New Orleans.
Marjorie is a member of The Dramatists Guild and a founding member of The Playwrights Alliance of Pennsylvania. When not working in local theatre, Marjorie is a freelance copywriter and creative consultant. She has been privileged to work on advertising and direct marketing campaigns for companies such as Prudential Insurance, Colonial Penn Insurance, MCI Friends and Family, 1-800-COLLECT, Comcast, Verizon (Bell Atlantic) and Jenny Craig. She has won over 35 industry awards for her work. Marjorie lives in Camp Hill, Pa. with her wonderful husband, Ed Shapiro.

Synopsis
Randy Clooney is the controversial founder of a club organized for boys who
would rather paint than play ball. Now he sits in prison, accused of the
murder of 14 of those boys. Jill Bennett, a disillusioned young lawyer, is
the only person standing between Randy and a death sentence. Will she help
him? Can she save him? Does he deserve to be saved?
Dan Borengasser: Dream Date
Dan Borengasser has written stage plays, screenplays and fiction, and was a syndicated humor columnist. He blushes to admit that one of his science fiction stories was nominated for a Hugo and that he's won numerous awards for his stage plays and screenplays. One of his 10-minute plays, The Gospel According to Bower, has been produced across the country - from New York to Los Angeles. He has two books published - Whiskers' Pond, a children's novel, and Cat Horoscopes & Other Diversions, a compilation of his humorous essays. Borengasser, who enjoys speaking of himself in the third person, lives in Springdale, AR with his wife Sally. Another member of the household is Kitty Cobweb, who can magically teleport her cat fur onto your clothes from a distance of fifteen to twenty feet. Rounding out the family are Chuck and Lyle, two gentlemen rats who like yogurt drops and the music of the Pet Shop Boys, and who think that Borengasser is quite the guy. And who's to say they're not right? Borengasser is quite confident that he has other notable accomplishments, but, for the moment, they escape him.

Synopsis
A man and woman meet for the first time in a dream and are so taken with
each other that they're eager to reconnect in a future dream. They do, but
they also find out that they have real life existences that they hate, and
they become obsessed with severing their less-than-perfect real lives from
their ideal dream lives.
Bob & Barbara Silberg: Mr. Potcher's Holiday
Bob Silberg's writing career spans genres from TV sitcoms to science writing for NASA. His credits include a public-service commercial featuring Mel Brooks which was honored by the Clio organization (advertising's Oscars) and a campaign for the Will Rogers Institute that won an Emmy from the New York chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. He also wrote a string of best-selling videos for CRM Films which received numerous honors, including the John Cleese Comedy Award. On the music front, he wrote lyrics for the CBS game show Musical Chairs and for the Climbing Higher series of children's stories, and was a lyricist in BMI's musical theater workshop in New York.
Barbara Klaskin Silberg, aka Mrs. Music, is the music director at UCLA's Neuropsychiatric Hospital, where she brightens the lives of pediatric and adolescent inpatients. She is also director of the West Los Angeles Children's Choir, which was chosen to sing backup for Michael Jackson before his untimely death and has recently been tapped to back up The Black Eyed Peas, Panic at the Disco, and Train among other bands. Barb's choir is slated to perform at an international concert for peace this year in Beijing, where they'll sing two songs written by the Silbergs. Barb and Bob's songs have been performed at the Hollywood Bowl, licensed by the Kid Genius record label, and featured on a website of patriotic music sponsored by the National Institute of Health. Mr. Potcher's Holiday is their first theatrical musical.

Synopsis
Mr. Potcher, a school consultant, eliminates all classes in the arts and all extracurricular activities. When a young student named Darcy tries to persuade him to reinstate these activities, he not only remains unconvinced, he decides also to do away with all the holidays -- actually eliminate them from existence. The iconic holiday characters (Santa, Easter Bunny, Cupid, Leprechaun, a jack-o'-lantern and a Thanksgiving turkey) conspire with Darcy to change Mr. Potcher's mind.
