Texas AACTFest '07

March 22 - 25, 2007
William E. Scott Theatre, Fort Worth
From Texas AACTFest two theatres will advance to:
Region VI AACTFest
April 12 - 14, 2007 in Alexandria, Louisiana

From Region VI, one or two theatres will advance to:
National AACTFest
June 18 - 24, 2007 in Charlotte, North Carolina

Preliminary Information:
* You may present a one-act play or musical, or cutting of a full length play or musical by any author, limited to no more than 60 minutes. Proof of permission to perform and to cut are required. Rights for use of any copyrighted material, such as music, slides, photos, etc., must also be obtained.
* Scenery and props must fit in approx. 100 sq. ft. offstage storage. (10' X 10' at Nationals)
* You have a maximum of 10 minutes to set up and 10 minutes to strike.
* One hour rehearsal time on stage of host theatre.
* A production must be performed in the same form and with the same cast and crew at all festival levels.
* Fees: $50 to TNT for Quad. $50 to TNT for those advancing to State. Theatre must be a current organizational member of TNT - minimum level $50. $55 to AACT for Quad if theatre is not an AACT member. (Fees do not cover conference registration for those individuals who wish full participation in workshops, social events, performances).
* Quad Registration: $15 per company member
* State Registration: $95 per company member
* BILL & ENID HOLM FESTIVAL AWARDS: Each theatre advancing to the state festival will receive $250. Each theatre advancing to the regional festival will receive $1,000. A Texas theatre advancing to the national festival will receive $3,000*. AACT will provide $1500 to Region VI theatre(s) advancing.


*Special provisions may apply due to new AACT 12 show rule.

Specific rules and applicable forms will be mailed to you upon receipt of your Festival Reservation. The Festival Handbook may be downloaded from the internet as a .pdf file at www.aact.org.

Festival participation is on a first come, first served basis. $50 must accompany this form. DEADLINE FOR QUAD ENTRY IS
OCTOBER 6, 2006

If a theatre advances to Region VI AACTFest, the theatre must join AACT at the appropriate level. The $55 AACT fee will be applied toward AACT membership.

If the submit button does not work for you, you can still fill in the form then print it and mail it to TNT.

Fees must be received within 10 days of submission if the submit button works for an e-mail submission. Otherwise, please included the appropriate fees when you mail your form.
