FEE - TEN DOLLARS ($10) FOR THE FIRST COSTUME
TWO DOLLARS ($2) PER ADDITIONAL COSTUME
Please confirm your intent to enter prior to the Conference.
Display areas in the Sheraton Grand Hotel will be on a first come, first served basis.
REGULATIONS
1. All entrants must be members (individual or theatre) of TNT and must be registered participants of the annual conference.
2. Each entrant may enter as many as six costumes. Costumes must be from shows which have been produced within the past twelve months, beginning March 2007.
3. Costumes will be displayed in the same area as set and graphic design competitions.
Entrants must provide own display units, mannequins, dress forms, hanging system, etc.
Attach an information sheet for each costume including name of production, character, theatre, designer, material and cost. Other pertinent information may be added. Each costume is judged individually.
4. Costumes will be judged on:
Originality
Effectiveness
Suitability
Adaptability
Cost effectiveness
5. The costumes must not have been entered in previous TNT competitions.
6. Awards will be presented to a minimum of one and a maximum of three outstanding costume designs. An additional award may be given for a speciality costume if the judges deem it applicable.
LOGISTICS
Entrants are responsible for setting up and striking exhibits.
Set up must occur between 8:30 a.m.-12 noon, Friday and must remain in place until Sunday morning.
All exhibits must be cleared by noon Sunday.
Design displays will be set up in a designated room at the Sheraton Grand Hotel
Electricity cannot be guaranteed. If electricity is necessary, notify the TNT office in advance.
