FEE - TEN DOLLARS ($10) PER ENTRY
Please confirm your intent to enter prior to the Conference.
Display areas in the Sheraton Grand Hotel will be on a first come, first served basis.
REGULATIONS
1. All entrants must be members (individual or theatre) of TNT and must be registered participants of the annual conference.
2. Each entrant may enter the scenic design for up to three (3) shows which have been produced within the past 12 months, beginning March 2007.
3. Entrants must exhibit:
Names of the production, theatre, designer and cost.
Production photographs of the actual set.
One color enlargement, at least 8 x 10 inches.
A set model and/or working drawings.
4. Entrants may also exhibit:
Anything else showing design.
A brief description of theatre facilities, requirements, limitations, etc. to explain why or how design or practical application was achieved.
5. Exhibit is not to exceed 40" x 40" x 8' tall. Entrants must provide own card table or display stand.
6. Scene designs will be judged on:
Concept
Originality
Suitability
Workability
Cost effectiveness
Overall effect
7. Scene designs must not have been entered in previous TNT competitions.
8. Awards will be presented to a minimum of one and a maximum of three outstanding designs.
LOGISTICS
Entrants are responsible for setting up and striking exhibits.
Set up must occur between 8:30 a.m.-12 noon, Friday and must remain in place until after Sunday morning.
All exhibits must be cleared by noon Sunday.
Design displays will be set up in a designate room in the Sheraton Grand Hotel.
Electricity cannot be guaranteed. If electricity is necessary, please notify the TNT office in advance.
