Texas Theatre Town Halls – To Stream Or Not To Stream? Panelists

These panelists will be discussing their experiences streaming their theatre’s shows during the August 4 Texas Theatre Town Hall – To Stream Or Not To Stream?

Craig Boleman – SoloShoe Communications, LLC.

With the energy of a hummingbird (1,400 heartbeats a minute!), the term multitasker was invented for Craig. He can spin a headline, pitch a media story, direct a tv spot, tweet a buzz generating 140 characters (or less) and suggest a new color scheme in the first hour of a Wednesday morning. He credits Diet Dr. Pepper. An Aggie since birth (Class of ’95 – a semester early!), Craig has worked to market the arts his entire career (except for a short detour at a Texas winery). Known as a “fast talker” in some circles, he was rendered speechless when bumping into his idol, Tony Award-winning actress Faith Prince, on the corner of Broadway and 46th. Curses!
Favorite Musical: Urinetown; Favorite Live Concert: Michael Buble

Jeffrey Brown  – Playhouse 2000

Jeffrey Brown is the Executive Director for Playhouse 2000, Inc. and The Cailloux Theater, a position he’s held since October of 2011.  He brings more than 20 years of experience in theater and arts administration to the job, the bulk of it as Producing Director for the Chattanooga Theatre Centre, a multi-stage performance and production company in Tennessee. Prior to that, Jeffrey served in executive and development positions for groups such as Voices of Change, a classical chamber music ensemble, and The Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico dance company, both located in Dallas.

With Playhouse 2000, Jeffrey’s production of Tennessee Williams’ little know one-act The Pretty Trap progressed through multiple levels of the American Association of Community Theater’s AACT Fest, earning awards for Acting, Directing, Scenic Design, Costume Design and Lighting along the way to performing at the 2019 National Festival in Gettysburg, PA.

Sean Foushee – Tickets To The City

Sean Foushee is the co-creator of TicketstotheCity and a Professor of Graphic Communications at Tarrant County College. Sean has been involved with the theatre community for over 20 years going back to his undergraduate studies at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas. When he isn’t helping theaters with their online ticketing needs, he enjoys playing his saxophone, woodworking, and playing with his kids. To paraphrase Shakespeare, “The questions is not whether to have a ticketing service but rather which ticketing service to have.”
